I have a 40 plus year background in accountancy in industries as diverse as mining to aerospace defence. I have a good track record as well as a wealth of experience gained in having held positions as Mine Secretary, Project Costing and Estimating, Development Cost and Management Accountancy and Head of Financial Management and Planning.A few of the industries with whom I have been associated in South Africa are African Mining and Trust, Printpak Gravure, OK Bazaars Development and Estates, Tiger Foods and Milling, SABAT Batteries and more latterly in the UK Teledyne Reynolds.I qualified with a degree in accountancy from Unisa in South Africa having specialised in Cost Management Accounting.
