In July of 2011, I was offered the position of European Export Manager with the family owned company, Marchesi de' Frescobaldi. Frescobaldi is one of the world's oldest and most distinguished wine families, owning extensive vineyards throughout Tuscany, in the celebrated regions of Montalcino, Chianti and the Maremma.

In 2007, I accepted the position of International Sales and Marketing Director with Marchese Lodovico Antinori's new company, Campo di Sasso Distribuzioni Srl, which includes three premium wine estates in the Upper Maremma in Tuscany, one estate in Marlborough, New Zealand and one estate in Tokaji, Hungary.

I was asked to lead the European Division of Jackson Family Wine Estates, based in the UK and remained with them until I received an offer to join Lodovico Antinori with his new company Campo di Sasso.

I was Vice-President of this company whose major brand was Lanson Champagne, under the ownership of M. Mora.

Owned by Heineken, Burns House Group was a wine and spirit distribution company in Nassau, the Bahamas.I was the Senior Vice President for Wines.

As the European Sales Manager, for Robert Mondavi Wines, my role was to build the sales and presence of our wines throughout the European markets and also the Middle East.

Mentzendorff is owned jointly by Bollinger Champagne and the Fladgate Port Group. It also represented many other wines for which I was responsible, including Robert Mondavi, who invited me to join them in 1997 as their European Sales and Marketing Manager.

H Parrot was a wine shipping company owned by Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, the parent company. It was responsible for the distribution and sales of many other fine wines including, Louis Latour, Trimbach, Chateau D'Issan, Chapoutier, De Ladoucette, and Badia di Coltibuono.

Upon leaving Aberdeen University, I was accepted by VSO to be the Head of English language and literature in Government Secondary School, Anka, in Sokoto State, Northern Nigeria.
