Studied Sports Management with a Marketing Analytics minor at Otterbein University. I interned with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the Digital and Social Media department and I was the Social Media Manager for the Flint Firebirds. I helped launch the Name the Team contest, which brought in over 2,000 unique name entries and launched the Firebirds official social media.Before joining the Flint Firebirds, I was the editor of Octopus Thrower an unofficial Detroit Red Wings blog in the FanSided network. During my time with Octopus Thrower, I published over 2,000 articles covering the Red Wings, prospects, the NHL, the EIHL, and the MasterCard Memorial Cup.I have been accredited by the Detroit Red Wings to attend Development Camp and Training Camp, the Canadian Hockey League to attend the MasterCard Memorial Cup, and the Braehead Clan in the EIHL to report on a game and interview Drew Miller during the NHL lockout.
