Managing Director
CurrentPeter is Managing Director of corporate and real estate finance at Piper Sandler real estate investment banking. He has spent the majority of his career in real estate private equity investments and investment banking, and he has advised, executed or invested in real estate private equity offerings totaling more than $15 billion in value. He works with public and private real estate companies providing strategic advice and raising capital. As a veteran investment banker and real estate specialist, Peter helps his clients access capital for growth strategies and to solve challenging and complex issues associated with owning real estate in both public and private vehicles. Assignments may involve portfolios of assets, pre-IPO advisory and portfolio positioning, M&A, IPOs and recapitalizations. Structures include private placements of common stock, senior and junior bonds, convertible debentures, convertible preferred stock, joint ventures, separate accounts and commingled funds. Peter has more than 25 years of investment banking experience and has worked across the product spectrum in real estate. His investor relationships include pension funds, pension fund advisors, endowments, foundations, private equity funds, family offices and sovereign wealth funds.
