Initially working as maternity cover in the Renewals department before moving to COM team my main responsibilities include price validation, account management, processing of orders and supporting national account managers and Tier 3 Account Management

Working for the inside sales team as part of a pilot scheme to increase sales and brand awareness in the UK, talking directly with businesses looking to leverage IT expertise in WSM, ERP, HRM and finance & accounting software.

Working in customer service and technical support dealing with direct and in-direct customers as well as 3rd party resellers with whom I developed and maintained existing business relationships. Other responsibilities included managing the email inbox and assigning work to the rest of the team, coordinating site visits & repairs between the customer and our locally based engineer’s team, compiling & reporting on monthly activity to identify recurring issues, management of all office filing and the updating & editing of customer instruction booklets to improve clarity. I was also involved in the return of faulty items from customers by arranging delivery/collection, tracking and chasing of these returns, managing the relevant stock and providing feedback to the product development team. Requiring in-depth product knowledge and a full understanding of the technical workings of each product also meant our team was the first contact for many new sales enquiries.

Working in a busy international call centre doing market research projects for various clients in the fields of finance, banking, IT & software, construction and customer satisfaction feedback. Predominately calling the UK and USA, projects also included calling Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UAE, China, Singapore, South Africa and various South American and European countries.

Providing support to the National Account Managers by tracking upcoming construction projects and sales opportunities. In addition to the creation of sales support documentation, I also developed existing relationships via the promotion and organisation of CPD seminars.

As part of a newly formed National Accounts team I helped develop sales and rebate reporting processes for major national accounts by consolidating data from multiple subsidiaries. In addition to the monthly consolidation and reporting of these figures, I was also tasked with creating sales support documents focusing on potential sales opportunities, project tracking and developments within the construction industry for National Account Managers, Area Sales Managers and Directors of the businesses within the SIG group. With many reports being done on an ad hoc basis, the ability to work to tight deadlines and on short notice was crucial.
