Responsible for fire and life safety risk assessment, review, mitigation and implementation of best practices for the protection of multiple client’s employees and property across AUS/SOS’s international portfolio. Clients included members of the financial services, information technology, pharmaceutical, higher education, public utilities, property management sectors. Collaborated with clients and local authorities having jurisdiction to development, training, exercises and continued evaluation of emergency action plans. Conducted exercise and evaluation programs whilst developing specific curricula for security professional within the portfolio clients.

Responsible for vision and leadership of 355 administrative, adjunct and full-time instructional personal in this the centralized training and education facility for the Emergency Services charged with the protection of over a million residents and visitors. Comprised of Fire, Police and EMS Academies, LPSI offers recruit and in-service training in the most respected facility of its kind in New Jersey with over 25,000 students annually. • Initiated improved marketing of training services with an outcome of a 94% increase in student enrollment, a 62% increase in Instructor/Student contact hours and a 217% increase in revenues generated. • Directed integration, into current curriculum, of a national certification for greater professionalism for the student and the services.• Facilitated improvements of the student’s experience and cost effectiveness of selected training programs by leveraging partnerships. • Prioritized infrastructure improvements and maintenance during recent austere budget cycles. • Innovated significant enhancements through the use of improved administrative processes, motivation of professional staff members, and improved work flow management.

Provided guidance through improved utilization of the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) to provide centralized coordination and to gain a common operating picture with which to disseminate lessons learned from all sectors. • Developed and delivered table-top exercises to Governors McGreevy, Codey, Corzine, and Christie and their Cabinet members• Duties included development and delivery of significant exercises including; TOPOFF-3, Urban Area Security Initiative, Area Maritime Security Committee, and others. • Duties also included deployment with New Jersey’s Louisiana Emergency Assistance Deployment (NJ-LEAD) in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Rita. Responsible for post-land fall evaluation, deployment and operation of security and technical teams from New Jersey Fire Department Hazardous Material Teams and the 91st Civilian Support Team AZ-NG in order to identify and secure WMD-CBRNE materials within the City of New Orleans; and other significant incidents.

Designed and implemented plans to re-build the integrity of the newly acquired Conference. Developed and directed Education Programs included the successful launch of; Hands-On Training; Evolutions, Workshops’ and Plenary Sessions. During seven years, built the conference into the world’s largest annual fire training event, doubling attendance and increasing revenue by 400 percent in five years. FDIC’s Executive Team was honored with many industry awards including the prestigious International Association of Fire Fighters, Service Award.
