Prepares and releases correspondence for use by other federal, state, and local agencies. Utilizes various electronic data processing (EDP) systems to input data for processing claims and generating automated correspondence.

Utilize software systems to perform, i.e. VBMS, BDN, CEST, Covers, CAPRI, MAP-D, VACOLS, PCGL, PIES, etc. Receive, open, review and date stamp incoming correspondence. Analyze claim and determine disposition. Assist the Veterans Service Representative (VSR) gathering of evidence for more complex cases. Screen initial claims for benefits, and facilitate the workflow between the team and other PMC Teams. Prepare report of contact on all telephone calls or inquiries to complete the development of claims. Explain veteran benefit programs and entitlement criteria to veterans, dependents and others.
