I'm responsible for the delivery of software solutions and IT operations at Adwanted UK (advertising software, data and information experts). This includes technical oversight of our media analytics, audio trading, audio delivery, and out-of-home data warehouses and APIs, as well as various bespoke web solutions for media research companies.The software solutions focus on making large amounts of complex data useful to users, through reporting, analysis and transactional applications.I set the strategy across all aspects of the company's technical operations (innovation, development, release, ITSM) and work with my teams to continuously evaluate and improve the technical processes at Adwanted.My role - while sometimes still hands-on (web development, devops, sysadmin and data design) - ensures the smooth-running of the technology teams. In my time at Adwanted, I have built development and ITSM processes which meet the companies goals and the suit the team and its projects. The goal has been to ensure effective solution delivery, including Agile project management, configuration management and infrastructure control. I drive an ethos of transparency of the technical teams' work to all stakeholders.I own the budget for technical spend at Adwanted UK and oversee the choice of spending with suppliers including cloud infrastructure, telecoms, hardware and software. I successfully walk the line between the cost control required by an SME and the investment required for effective delivery.

I led the technical solution design and implementation for ESV media, a start-up delivering a searchable, constantly updated database of UK media conferences, speakers and awards. "An essential business tool for marketing & comms departments, event organisers, PR companies and industry bodies."Technical management, solution architecture and software development were all part of the role. The product launched in March 2015.

This was primarily a development management role - a hands-on position which involved software architecture and design. One key accomplishment was that I designed a Data Integration Platform as a conduit for interfacing Linedata's Icon fund management platform with multiple market data vendors (e.g. Reuters, FTID, etc.)In addition, in a client-facing role, I oversaw the facilities-managed implementation of the Icon fund management software. This included managing the migration to a new third-party hosting provider.I also conceived, built and then managed Linedata's web applications division, providing internal and external tools to provide customer support for Linedata's software development and client relationships.
