Produced investigative features on the relationship between alleged Russian agent Maria Butina and high-ranking members of the National Rifle Association; on the alleged mishandling of complaints of sexual abuse by clergy members in the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, which led to the bishop’s resignation; and on sexual misconduct allegations against a top figure skating coach, which prompted the Olympic Movement’s misconduct watchdog to issue a lifetime ban from the sport.

Served as lead writer and editor for major projects and guided complex and sensitive stories through standards and legal vetting to publication. Wrote and produced digital features for two Emmy-nominated investigations – one of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, which led to renewed calls from lawmakers for border agents to wear body cameras, the other of medical care in a privately-run immigration detention facility, which prompted calls for a congressional inquiry.
