Currently on assignment from Prime time Recruitment working within the Forensic Science Service working on the Packing project.

Independent support/IT Consultant working with Cal-Tec.co.uk mainly supporting one client on the development of a booking system for a rapidly growing national company. Involvement in the design and implimentation of a custom Encrypted backup system, general support of SBS2k3 server including DHCP, DNS, group policy management, VPN site to site connections, disaster recovery planning, personnel database developement, updating of various in house MSAccess databases, general end user support.

Initially working as a Contractor to Premier I then had the opportunity to purchase the company. Offering Business and home user support, we worked with small corporates offering Ad hoc support to clients PC infrastructure, development of back up solutions and strategies, fault finding, antivirus solutions and network security. On a Home user front we offered support of Home networks, gave advise on antivirus and security applications, repair and maintenance of PCs and laptops.

Primarily updating and redesigning the companies Web sites as well as providing Warehouse Staff with IT Support. Role included daily checks of IT cooling equipment, maintenance of equipment, Printer support and maintenance (Kyocera Mita Trained), support of various in house and warehousing applications.

Providing Second Level Support to the technical Helpdesk of the number one Electronic Banking product for our 52,000 customers and specific point of reference for the Major Corporate customer base of 490 relationships across 1330 sites. During my time at BankLine I have received several compliments from Major Corporate customers and colleagues for my support. Several customers also use me as sole point of contact due to my customer care including one of the largest customers to the Bank. I also support outsourced resources to the Bank when on-site and provided 2 months of training to our outsourced Helpdesk in Hellaby nr Rotherham with assistance from my colleagues. In the last year I have also been responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and fault finding on the Web Support site. More recently I have been involved in the programming side of the web site re-design making sure all of the functions are maintained when the new site goes live. This has involved me having to re-design for a new database provider (from MS Access to MySQL) converting all of the SQL scripts to new formats, and adding new functionality to provide better customer information.
