Associate - Design Advocate
CurrentPeter has over two decades of architectural experience across a number of high profile city making projects in Asia, Australia and the UK. As Perth studio transport stream and design advocacy lead Peter works with the team to leverage his experience in combining international best practice and sense of place, bringing design clarity to a wide range of projects. Recent highlights include Boola Bardip, Bayswater Station, Perth Airport Masterplan and T2 expansion.Prior to joining Hassell Peter spent seven years at John McAslan’s Manchester Studio, working on flagship projects including University Place at the University of Manchester. In 2008 he moved to Singapore to join ArupSport as project architect for the National Aquatics Centre, a key part of the $2 billion Singapore Sports Hub. Peter then led the Supertrees project at Gardens by the Bay with Grant Associates, receiving global recognition including the 2012 WAF Project of the Year and the RIBA Lubetkin Prize. Through his work with leading architecture, engineering and landscape practices Peter has a fully rounded understanding of major project multi-disciplinary design integration.
