I am currently studying for my CFA Level 2 exam having completed Level 1 in February 2023

I worked for Nickleby as a summer intern to further improve my skills and gain more financial services experience. In this role I assisted the team with their deal flow operations as well as creating various models to help the team determine which opportunities were viable and which ones weren't.

In November 2020 I joined Gresham House on an initial 3-month Internship where I worked within the forestry division helping with deal origination, deal completion, forest valuation and carbon credit valuations. Towards the end of the 3-month tenure within the team I shifted towards working in the international forestry department, where I helped on deal origination while also assisting with valuation models on carbon credits.As a result of my work within the Forestry team my Internship was supposed extended for an additional 3 months within the Real Estate and affordable housing team. The focus throughout those 3 months was to work on evaluation models while assisting the team with their client relations. I found those 3 months incredibly useful as it opened my eyes to another sector that perhaps I would not have otherwise known about. The affordable housing sector offers people another alternative to getting on the property ladder without the necessity of needing a mortgage. Show less

In July of 2019 I joined the Divorce Lending firm, Detach Lending a company set up by a serial entrepreneur. In this role I was expected to underwrite loans for incoming clients, manage all the financial accounts as well as also actively looking to bring in new business.

During my time at Native Land I was tasked with managing various financial accounts as well as handling various client-facing activities. Although this was only an Internship, I proved myself as being a competent speaker as I was often asked to lead meetings with key developers.
