I have over 20 years experience in FMCG with Coles and Metcash Food & Grocery, gaining extensive experience from both a corporate and independent perspective.Through my career I have led and managed individual businesses with turnover exceeding $50m annually and leading up to 300 team members at a time. As a Retail Business Manager I have built a multi-site leadership capability through leading a team of Area Managers, responsible for annual turnover of over $500m, across more than 180 sites. Through my experience I have developed strong skills in leadership and mentoring, people management, and communication along with the delivery and implementation of new business initiatives. Through this I have sharpened my eye for detail and focus on retailing in the FMCG space.I have gained experience in leading teams and mentoring up and coming leaders. I have extensive experience in the opening of new stores, and refurbishing of existing stores whilst trading, and working with independent retailers to add value to their businesses in a challenging and competitive retail environment.
