Ensure the quality and consistency of information provided through the Arbitration Forums web tool, data exports and internal marketing reports. Communicate the work and achievements of the Business Intelligence team within Arbitration Forums.

Ensured the quality and consistency of the data used in the television ratings. This was achieved through maintaining quality control rules, monitoring the panel member performance via phone survey, communicated changes and addressed inquires from external auditors and industry regulatory groups. The changing media landscape required periodic reviews of the quality control procedures to determine if the existing procedures were effective at addressing the issue which can occur in homes with newer technology. This required gathering and analyzing data using python and SQL. Panel compliance with participation rules was measured by a phone survey. The results of these surveys were summarized annually to produce a report for Nielsen's clients and auditors. In order to maintain the accuracy and consistency of these surveys I enhanced and communicated the survey rules to the Nielsen Call Center and monitored the survey performance. All elements of this survey from sample selection, calling rules, calling results and performance summaries were shared and discussed with external auditors.

Maintain panel data quality by monitoring and enhancing quality controls, communicating process status across departments and communicating changes to the quality process internally and externally. SAS and Sybase in UNIX and Windows environments were used to provide descriptive visualizations and statistical tests to validate the data quality. These provided insight in to the panel performance and composition, which was shared internally and externally using Excel, Word and Power Point. This information assisted in maintaining continuity with internal departments and supporting external client confidence in the company's products. Client confidence was also supported through responses to inquires from external auditors and industry regulatory groups regarding process controls and the procedures which maintained them.

Supported the launch of new measurement technology by developing quality control procedures, comparing results to established methodologies and communicating to internal departments and external clients. Developed a thorough understanding of the metering technology and processing rules which allowed for the development of procedures to address all limitations and potential failure points. Worked with Application Development and Field Maintenance groups to ensure that the efficient and accurate implementation of all quality controls. Managed a monthly cross department meeting in which quality control and measurement technology were discussed and collaborative efforts were launched.
