I am currently working as an Improvement Advisor in the CNWL NHS Foundation Trust Quality Improvement (QI) Team as a faculty member of the CNWL Improvement Academy with responsibilities for developing improvement capability and capacity within the organisation through the use of Improvement Science.My specific responsibilities include provision of divisional strategic liaison, programme management and delivery of QI training and coaching. I line manage one Improvement Coach, being responsible for their supervision and role development.I maintain a strategic advisory and liaison role with two Divisions of CNWL Trust: Goodall Division, which manages community and mental health services across the London Boroughs of Hillingdon and Camden, and Corporate Division, which includes all the central support functions of the Trust such as Human Resources, Workforce, Finance, Procurement and Organisational Development. In this role, my duties are to provide analysis, review and recommendations to Divisional Boards to align QI training and project activities with the strategic and operational objectives of the Division. This includes review of governance and performance data and monthly reporting on the progress of programmes and projects, levels of Expert by Experience (Service User/Carer) involvement and uptake of QI training. I also support the development and delivery of service-specific programmes of work within clinical services.As a Programme Manager, my duties include development (identification, planning and execution) of programmes of cross-divisional improvement work aligned to Divisional and Trust strategic priorities. This includes the scoping, design, planning and implementation of a work scheme, such as a collaborative or co-produced set of projects using the Model for Improvement and LEAN based improvement methods. I am responsible for ensuring specific governance of each programme and that each programme is supported by appropriate levels of reporting, value for money review and closure evaluation.I am responsible for the development and delivery of two levels of QI training with monthly basic (bitesize) and intermediate levels of QI training. My duties involve curriculum design, development of training packages and management of training delivery.
