I am a partner at Taft focusing on representing lenders and borrowers in financing transactions, as well as public and private companies in general corporate matters.I represent multi-national, national and regional commercial banks, investment banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions, as well as borrowers and issuers, in a variety of leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings, real estate financings, project financings, mezzanine financings, cross-border financings and asset-based financings. I also have significant experience with a variety of corporate matters, and have worked with numerous public and private companies in connection with a variety of complex mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, equity and debt offerings, corporate governance matters and numerous other transactional matters, including multiple clients in the manufacturing, fintech and renewable energy industries. I am also a member of Taft's legal opinion committee.I currently serve as outside general counsel to several established and early stage/start-up companies, and I have recently counseled companies located in Australia, Canada, China, Iceland, Lithuania, France, the UK, Sweden, Germany and a number of other countries in connection with the U.S. and international aspects of various financing and other corporate transactions. My practice covers a wide range of industries, including energy, financial services, fintech, telecommunications, retail, health care, food & beverage, mining, shipping and manufacturing.
