Working for Softbank Team Japan competing in the America's Cup 35 initially overseeing the build of the AC50 class catamaran in New Zealand, then working in Bermuda on the final assembly and project managing the "go faster" upgrades. An exiting project being involved with the state of the art foiling speed machines. In Bermuda, working as part of the design team and then hands on with the composite construction all with extremely tight deadlines proved challenging and yet extremely rewarding with such a fantastic team of people.

Responsible for overseeing the details of the construction of custom hi-tech racing yachts in over 50 successful builds including Emirates Team New Zealand AC72, Luna Rossa AC72, 16 x Transpac 52s, Kiwi 40 and 100’ “Speedboat”, Volvo 60s & 70s.• Pricing, contracts and purchasing for new builds. • Drawing conversion from 2D to 3D modeling for clarification. 3D surface diagnostics. Tool and mould design.• Liaising with designers and engineers on construction methods.• Drafting engineering drawings for the purchase of hardware.• Receipt of drawings, filing and plotting. Shipping and overseas freight.• Manage deck layouts and sailing systems including dagger board and wing for America’s Cup 2013 builds.

Responsible for deck systems, Boat Captain and Bowman for the British GBR Challenge for the 2003 America’s Cup in Auckland, New Zealand.
