Responsible for managing Pacific Life’s Infrastructure Services which include Network Infrastructure, Network Security, Voice Technology, Midrange (UNIX, Linux and FileNet), Windows Servers and Applications, Enterprise Storage and Backup, and Enterprise Messaging systems. Adopted ITIL framework to roll out Silo-to-Service program. All management were ITIL v3 certified. Recent projects include Omaha Disaster Recovery site build out, EMC tiered-structure Storage, Backup and Data Replication among sites, System Monitoring and Service Management, Server/Storage/Data Center Virtualization, Cloud Computing, Citrix, and Messaging/Mobile strategy and roadmap. Managed an organization of 45 Infrastructure Engineers with an annual budget of $24 million.
