CurrentTechnical Project EngineerNovember 2022 – Present: Jacobs, Heysham 1 Power Station UK:- Work Pack Manager for the Flask Handling Crane and Skip Element Handling Machine refurbishments under the Fuel Route Equipment Reliability programme.- Authorised Nominated Competent person (Electrical & Mechanical and, Nuclear Radiological), authorised for holding plant isolation Safety Documents and ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards are maintained while leading working parties.- Appointed island lead for the Flask Handling Bay during the 2024 Fuel Route outage.- Level 3 Field supervisor, capable of managing onsite work safely within radiologically controlled areas (RCA).- Fleet wide cross-departmental engagement as internal and external point of contact.- Authoring technical specifications for provision of contractual quotations.- Developing plans and estimates for future project work and ensuring engagement from key stakeholders.- Complying with the Investment Delivery Process and Construction, Design and Management (CDM) regulations, engaging with Principle Designer, Principle Contractor and, Client.- Reviewing and approving contractor Health and Safety Risk Assessments and Method Statements.- Overseeing production of Engineering Change (EC) modification processes by term contractors to confirm content validity and progress.- Continuous stakeholder management including System Engineers, Group Heads, Technical Leads, External Contractors and CDM appointed bodies.- Production and management of quality arrangements to be upheld throughout concept, delivery and closure of projects.- Completion of EDF Project Engineer SQEP (Suitable Qualified and Experienced Person) mentor guide through demonstration of key competencies.
