Equipment Reliability Project Engineer May 2022 – November 2022: Booth Welsh, Heysham 1 Power Station UK:- Identifying redundant condensate systems no longer required upon termination of generation and entering defueling.- Identifying system boundaries to be isolated by Senior Authorised Persons upon entering defueling.- Identifying Reactor and Fuel Route plant predicted to receive increased duty throughout defueling.- Evaluating generation maintenance strategies to be terminated upon defueling in accordance with safety case guidelines.- Leading workshops to engage key stakeholders and subject matter experts to review safety case documents and station drawings to support maintenance rationalisation programme.- Conducting plant walk-downs to confirm validity of Operation System Drawings.- Specifying scope of work for inclusion in Lifetime Asset Management Plan (LAMP) to be delivered as part of the ongoing defueling programme.- Closing out of Fleet Assessment Information Register (FLAIR) actions on behalf System Engineers.- Raising of Definition of Need (DoN) documents and specifying the requirement for Work Order Card production.- Performing Criticality Reviews to confirm classification of components is correct as systems functions shift between generation and defueling.- Authorship of Equipment Reliability Reviews on multiple systems to maintain compliance with site licence condition 28 and the Office of Nuclear Regulation (ONR)
