About Peter Walters

Physicist and data scientist with an enthusiasm for problem solving and a passion for promoting inclusivity and access for all in STEM. I have a Doctoral degree from the University of Rochester with a concentration on experimental high energy nuclear physics. My primary focus involved creating mathematical models and using computer simulations to study those models and the physical systems they correspond to. I would like to apply the skills acquired during my research career to a mathematical modeling position in an effort to help my employer gain better understanding of various physical systems.
