Key member of a team responsible for the development of a multi-step complex pharmaceutical process. Process includes high and low sheer mixing, unstable intermediates, sparging/solvent removal, diafiltration, and potency adjustments; all performed aseptically since products cannot be terminally sterilized. Performed process scale-up from bench scale to various pilot scales. As a part of the scale up efforts performed process optimization and characterization to increase yield, improve process robustness and identify critical process parameters. Performed design and implementation of key pilot and commercial scale equipment.
