In a voluntary capacity with my finance and audit background I provided support to the Trust Board in finance and governance matters. I was Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee.

I managed audits of varying sizes to £120M turnover and performed other tailored work including grant claims across a range of industries and sectors (agricultural/haulage/construction/pensions/charities).

Internal Audit Manager role on a range of multi and single academy trusts.Ad-hoc investigation work.Audit Supervisor on a range of academies - planning, performing and or reviewing external audit work for audit opinion. Overseeing completion of Teachers Pensions return certification, budget forecast return completion and bespoke academy requests.Collation and review of benchmarking data from academy schools for early publication of our annual Kreston Benchmark Report.

Assistant Manager on local authority clients - District Councils.Audit Senior role at health sector clients - PCT's, Health Trusts and Education sector - colleges.Performance and consultancy work at LG and health clients.Private sector audit senior role - financial services .

Audit team leader on a range of public sector clients including pension funds (Assets £1bn), local authorities (T/o £500m PCT’s ( T/o £350m ) and probation boards (T/o £10m ).
