I am an experienced disputes lawyer, with particular expertise in commercial disputes before the English courts or arbitral tribunals, in international law and arbitration, and in employment and public law. Recent experience as sole or lead counsel includes: (i) acting as lead counsel for a State in a substantial investment arbitration; (ii) acting for the defendant to an English court claim for repayment of borrowings under a syndicated loan; (iii) acting for private equity fund in a claim for damages for termination of a management agreement; (iv) representing numerous claimants in a groundbreaking damages claim related to modern slavery in their application for a freezing injunction.
