I am an experienced Project/Program Manager with a strong financial and commercial grounding having managed budgets and contracts associated with complex projects and tenders and who will "make a decision" and possesses a "can do" attitude. I manage all stakeholders involved with a business or project, from senior management, customers, teams (the people) and suppliers. I manage people's performance (good and bad) by clearly explaining goals and project direction, monitoring performance and consulting with the individuals to ensure they have the training, knowledge, time and capacity to perform the task. I am a confident person that can communicate across all levels and is not afraid to ask the hard questions or question poor management decisions (I always highlight risks and provide alternative suggestions or plans). I work with teams to look for ways to optimise existing processes and to identify innovations to improve processes for safety, quality and cost. All my projects meet or exceed contracted requirements and I establish, develop and support strong performing teams. I will give more than I get!
