Commissioning of relocated Full Flight Simulators and assistance with customer requirements.

Working as Shift Lead with a small team of engineers we are required to maintain the continued operation of 5 Full Flight Simulators, B757/767, A320 x2, Bae146 and A330/340 of L3 and CAE manufacture, to regulatory standards with minimum down time.Starting as a Flight Simulator Technician my duties include; fault finding to component level on the computer, electronic and hydraulic systems using engineering documentation, preparing the simulator to customer requirements and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, liaising with customers for briefings and feedback.As the Shift Lead I have further responsibilities including; prioritising and allocating work, planning shift rosters, planning and executing special tasks, training other engineers.

Responsible for continued operation of 4 Full Flight Simulators including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. This included troubleshooting the various systems to component level within a high pressure environment.

Starting as a flight simulator engineer responsible for the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of 4 Full flight simulators and numerous other flight training equipment. Leaving as a Simulator Specialist responsible for the long term serviceability, reliability and fidelity of the B737 Full Flight Simulator.

Leaving as Corporal responsible for the maintenance of all systems of the flight training equipment for the OCU focusing mainly on the computer hardware, small software modifications and interface systems .
