About Peter Winter
Peter Winter is a Managing Director at Winter Strategies. He possess expertise in team management, public diplomacy, china, international relations, writing and 26 more skills. He is proficient in Chinese and Arabic. Colleagues describe him as "The key differentiator for the USA Pavilion at the Shanghai 2010 World Expo was our 160 Student Ambassadors, the best and the brightest culled from over 1500 applicants to represent the United States to over seven million Chinese visitors to our Pavilion. In his position as Director of the Student Ambassadors Program in Shanghai, Peter played a vital role in one of the largest cultural exchange programs ever initiated with China. While his duties included everything from creating work schedules to developing new cultural outreach programs with my team and the U.S. Consulate, Peter's true success came in his management of the 160 young staff members that worked in all areas of the USA Pavilion. While the Expo itself created an incredibly stressful environment for all our employees, Peter was able to strike a balance for his large workforce, creating a demanding work environment while providing exciting and worthwhile opportunities beyond the Pavilion walls. The Student Ambassadors were a bright spot for the U.S. mission in Shanghai, thanks in no small part to Peter's work. Peter's Chinese language skills were excellent, his demeanor unfailingly calm and measured, and he possessed an honesty and realism which served him well as he maintained his credibility with the college student ambassadors he oversaw. I hope I can work with Peter again and any organization who choosed to have Peter as a part of the team is making the right call - he is a winner and the real deal."
Listed skills include Team Management, Public Diplomacy, China, International Relations, and 27 others.
