Merseylink Joint Venture - Mersey Gateway ProjectWorking on this project provided experience with a diverse range of construction activities with a focus on roadworks. Some of my responsibilities included but were not limited to, preparation of temporary works packages, management of material quantities, material requisitions, monitoring works progress and producing daily reports on works completed and issues raised. I worked alongside both the management and ground team, improving my ability to operate effectively within a diverse workforce and furthering my management skills and knowledge.

KMI Joint Venture - Burnley Waste Water Treatment Works RedevelopmentI was involved in the construction of various structural elements including reinforced slabs, retaining walls, plinths and steel frames. Often working independently I carried out surveys and set out construction elements and levels to a high degree of accuracy among other responsibilities. I was able to develop a greater understanding of construction processes and techniques, environmental management and the responsibilities of an engineer on site. “We (KMI) originally intended to bring in a temporary replacement for one of the engineers whilst he was on holiday but your performance (Peter) straight from the off assured us all that you could fill the void and I'm glad you were up the challenge” – Site Manager
