Peter Dawe is the Chief Operations and Growth Officer at McCain Foods, the world's largest manufacturer of frozen potato products. He has 18+ years of experience in management consulting, specializing in growth, operations and strategy. He led the implementation of McCain's 2030 value creation agenda, which aims to better serve customers, accelerate growth in McCain's potato and appetizer core, and more sustainably deliver delicious planet-friendly food.As a member of the Global Senior Leadership Team, Peter's current portfolio of responsibility includes Global Commercial, Supply Chain, Global Manufacturing, Network Operations, Health & Safety, Engineering, Procurement, Sustainable Cost Advantage (SCA) and External Affairs & Sustainability. Previously, Peter led the company's Strategy and Corporate Development efforts as well as the Global Marketing and R&D teams, including serving as McCain's Board representative on two equity investments: Strong Roots and TruLeaf Agriculture. Additionally, he is a board member of The Beer Store and Jays Care Foundation, where he supports the social and environmental impact of these organizations. Peter holds a degree in chemical engineering from Queen's University, Canada. He is passionate about creating value for consumers, customers, and stakeholders through growth, strategy, and innovation.
