I am curious about life. I have experiences spanning the globe in research, sales, and generally connecting people. I have over two decades of experience in managing and selling Washington area real estate. I have worked on projects that include selling a parking space to luxury home sales as well as managing teams through interpreters in foreign countries like Indonesia, The Philippines, Bulgaria, and Togo (to name a 4).I am married to Kurt Powers. We have a French Bulldog named Rex. I have home/family bases in Washington, DC, Grand Rapids, MI, and Medellin, Colombia. I am actively looking for work with a company that wants to properly utilize my knowledge and resources. Formerly with local developer PN Hoffman (Hoffman & Associates), my prior projects have included luxury sales and leasing in Logan Circle, DC, Chevy Chase, DC and Alexandria, VA. I was born in Illinois but have lived in five U.S. states and two other countries. I graduated Cum Laude from Grand Valley State University in West Michigan with a degree in Communication Studies. I am well suited to the International community having visited twenty-plus countries on five continents, to date. I was a featured speaker at the Bishkek Media Conference in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan providing Central Asian non-profits an introduction to social media and methods for optimizing online exposure through viral videos. I am currently with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. I love the company’s attention to their clients. I have a straight-forward and personable Midwest demeanor and love helping people. I have an inherent curiosity with regards to diversity and culture and love culinary exploration.
