Sustainable Braintree is a community advocacy group committed to helping Braintree residents, businesses and local government conserve energy, promote clean and renewable energy, protect the environment and live sustainably.

Practice focuses on estate planning, administration and tax law. Experience includes:Advising clients on gifting and estate reduction strategies, including for example charitable giving, planning with retirement assets, and annual exclusion gifting.Drafting sophisticated estate plans, including the preparation and drafting of Wills, Revocable Trusts, ILITs, Realty Trusts, Grantor Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Articles of Organization for charitable entities, LLC Operating Agreements, Homestead Declarations, Deeds, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Proxies.Advising clients on elder law issues including methods to protect assets from long term care expenses, asset spend downs, and applications for state long term care benefits.Preparation and filing of fiduciary income and estate tax filings.

Chaired the committee which revised the organization's Bylaws and Articles of Organization. Participated in the real estate committee's actions involving the organization's group homes and interaction with local zoning issues for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Appointed by the City's Mayor to preside over appeals concerning fines issued by the Zoning Enforcement Officers for violations of the regulations.
