Implementing multiple improvement projects to increase storage utilisation and pick speed through unit type consolidation and location design v order frequency. Created in-process WIP storage zones to reduce the cycle time of WIP carts by reducing step count between drop zones by >50%Created a consolidation process at unit reception to avoid failed storage processes and improve the units/cart thus reducing step count and increasing storage process rate by approx 40%.VMEX4 - Inbound / Outbound Manager:Member of the building start up team. Involved in the first inventory reception, creation of building operating processes, operations team training (both core and peak season) and volume, both first pack through to standard volumes of 36k units/day. The VMEX4 building was developed to absorb spikes in demand requiring a flexible capacity management system whereby we absorbed approx 160% of our planned daily throughputs, managed through rate calculation and significant team cross training.The VMEX4 way of working became a regional best practice in the use of a non-standard but low cost and flexible fulfillment centre delivery system. The team built methodologies pushing the standard use case and ultimately dleivered >10x the expected volumes for this system. The VMEX4 playbook was shared with regional teams for rapid implementation.

Built and implemented a full production and quality management system to manage current and future operational needs embedded in the TPM methodology. The system included the standard operating processes as well as training of the factory personnel to embed the methodology from start-up.Designed a factory KPI reporting system from shift through to monthly reporting fro factory stakeholders and senior leadership teams. Focussed on the Asset Intensity, quality, delivery performance and team performance.Managed the factory and production line start up of a 400 unit/minute automatic cereal bar production and packing line. Early equipment management methodologies were used to support a vertical ramp for line install to initial production in <90 days.Directly managed a team of 25 production leaders, engineers and on-site supply chain personnel.
