Major contributions to the TunableMSA document announced in November 2002. Selected vital electronic components necessary for product creation and coordinated raw material delivery schedules, fulfilling client specifications for prototypes. Launched 10Gb/s testing as part of production line.

Constructed one of the first 10Gb/s prototype optical receivers in the world, advancing corporation to the forefront of high-speed laser development.Conducted and presented research on real world applications of Wavelength Tunable DBR laser characteristics. Built hardware and created embedded software for a European demonstrator using Coherent Optical Detection with wavelength tunability. Successfully showcased its use during 3 large exhibitions.
