The Sufficiency4Sustainability (S4S) network seeks to promote thought, communication, and action across three areas: sufficiency, sustainability, and innovation.While each of these areas has its own networks and associations, they do not always interact. If we are to develop and promote policies to achieve economic, social, political and ecological sustainability, eliminating shortfalls in access to basic needs for all (sufficiency) is a necessary condition. Innovation can help achieve both sufficiency and sustainability.Value change and appropriate public policies can help orient innovation to foster sufficiency and sustainability.

ISOC-DC and ISOC-BR are chapters of the Internet Society (ISOC). I am active member of both these chapters and of the global ISOC.

Capital Area Globetrotters was recognized as an At Large Structure (ALS) by NARALO, the North American Regional At Large Organization that represents North American users of the Internet within the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). As a US citizen resident in Brazil eight months a year I am also interested in LACRALO, but not eligible for formal participation in the Latin America and the Caribbean Regional At Large Organization, since participation is based on citizenship, not residency. My principal interest in the At Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) is Internet Governance.

I created a new class website at http://1962.dartmouth.org. I was honored to receive the 2015 Class Webmaster of the year award during the 2015 Class Officers Weekend (18-19 September 2015).

InfoDev is a grant program initiated by the World Bank which provides its secretariat. As Chief of the Bank's Electronic Media Center, I helped organize InfoDev, then task managed grants in South Africa and Russia. Later I helped evaluate a number of infoDev grants.
