I have been working in the Information Technology field since early 2006, beginning my career at FedEx Kinko's, where I managed four locations and provided support to over 50 users. During my time there, I developed a strong understanding of the importance of documenting all technical work.I then advanced to Platinum Insurance Marketing, where I received training in database administration using Goldmine. Subsequently, I took on the role of Network Technician at Network Hardware Resale. After more than a year in this position, I transitioned to a Quality Control Technician role at Daticon/EED, where I gained valuable experience in Linux systems before the company was acquired and relocated to Seattle.Following this, I became the Lead Systems Engineer at Telecoast, co-managing warehouse operations, fulfilling orders, and overseeing Microsoft Office applications for all staff. After three years, the company rebranded to Right Network Technology, where I continued to manage email and application servers, test and configure networking hardware, build and deploy workstations, and manage a hosted VoIP system. Unfortunately, the company closed its doors in 2015.I served as the Lead Systems Analyst for Planned Parenthood California Central Coast, where I acted as IT Manager and EMR Systems Programmer. In this role, I participated in various committees aimed at enhancing user experience and proactively solved technical challenges for multiple departments. Following my tenure at PPCCC, I supported the Cottage Hospital vaccine clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to the successful vaccination of over 100,000 patients. I also worked as a Database Services Manager at the Santa Barbara Center for the Performing Arts, managing constituent records and overseeing ticketing services for online transactions. In this capacity, I led consortium meetings for system upgrades and simplified technical documentation, all while configuring ticket scanning devices to streamline event operations. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to enhancing technology solutions, improving user experiences, and driving operational efficiencies in various sectors.
