Responsible for the strategy and execution of the SE development projects such as improvement of production processes and development of new pipelay production and coating equipment. R&D Engineer at Allseas Engineering (Innovations Department): Development and improvement of (new) pipelay vessels, processes and equipment. Some highlights in functions and projects:- Technical and economical evaluation of new technologies and offshore implementation- Design of composite deep sea installation tools, various composite application projects, fiber slings and roller coatings (Project Engineer)- Safety cases and upgrade of two vessels to Australian working standard (project partly carried out in Australia, India and Malaysia)Ad-interim Department Head Pre-commissioning Department (~1 year, 2009, for re-structuring purposes). The pre-commissioning department is responsible for the testing of new installed pipelines at sea. Some of the highlights in work:- Development and implementation of a new organization structure of the pre-commissioning department- Basic engineering of pump spread and economical evaluation on the purchase of own equipment - Commercial and technical proposals, coordinating subcontractors- Coordination of mobilization of support vessel with pump spread
