Our volunteers work at projects that are based on a local request and include a business/social model. In this way we realize a long-term and sustainable impact.

Project: West Africa ProjectPM for the engineering of a green field bio oil processing plant in Ghana. The project includes a solvent plant, tankpark, truckloading and utilities plant. Responsible for the discipline interfaces, budget and planning of the offshore pipeline installation scope of the Maersk Tyra and Valdemar field development project in Denmark.

- Lead of the machine building (Small Equipment) group at the Innovations Department (~20fte). Responsible for the strategy and execution of the SE development projects such as improvement of production processes and development of new pipelay production and coating equipment. This included conceptual design, patents, engineering, construction and implementation onboard the vessels. - Job interviews and evaluations of employees- Project lead of Joint Industry Project “ Safety factors of fiber slings” - Set-up of a new office in Eindhoven

Delft Area, Netherlands

R&D Engineer at Allseas Engineering (Innovations Department): Development and improvement of (new) pipelay vessels, processes and equipment. Some highlights in functions and projects:- Technical and economical evaluation of new technologies and offshore implementation- Design of composite deep sea installation tools, various composite application projects, fiber slings and roller coatings (Project Engineer)- Safety cases and upgrade of two vessels to Australian working standard (project partly carried out in Australia, India and Malaysia)Ad-interim Department Head Pre-commissioning Department (~1 year, 2009, for re-structuring purposes). The pre-commissioning department is responsible for the testing of new installed pipelines at sea. Some of the highlights in work:- Development and implementation of a new organization structure of the pre-commissioning department- Basic engineering of pump spread and economical evaluation on the purchase of own equipment - Commercial and technical proposals, coordinating subcontractors- Coordination of mobilization of support vessel with pump spread
