Peter was most recently Chief Marketing & Merchandising Officer at Hayward Corporation, a multi-format lumber and building materials company. He was President & CEO of YourCircle Consulting, which provided insights to increase organizational effectiveness and profitability. Evolving from a company founded by Peter in 2007, YourCircle Consulting enabled growth by identifying critical outcomes, defining key customers and focusing product, marketing and development activities on them.Previously, Peter was SVP GMM at BevMo!, a 55+ store alcoholic beverage retail chain. Recruited by its CEO, he led the merchandising team as the company nearly doubled its sales from $190 million to over $375 million in a three year period, quintupling earnings. Peter has also led merchandising and marketing as Executive Vice President of Merchandising and Advertising at Egghead. He designed one of the first fully integrated marketing programs and rebuilt the entire merchandising and marketing team. He also designed and implemented a new retail store format as Vice President of Retail. As Executive Vice President of Merchandising at The Sharper Image, Peter’s contributions to the turnaround plan helped return the company to profitability. Peter has an MBA from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from Princeton University, graduating magna cum laude.
