I'm the Head of Global IT & Systems at G.J. Gardner Homes, a franchise organization headquartered in Queensland, Australia with 140+ offices building more than 4,500 homes around the world. I am responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of software solutions and services spanning G.J. Gardner's operations in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. I head up the Franchise Systems Support & Training teams, which enable franchise staff, master franchises, and their support teams to roll out new technology initiatives.My team is responsible for cycle management of G.J. Gardner's "G.J. Software 5.X", iPad application, Intranet, and AWS infrastructure. Our workload spans all aspects of G.J. Gardner's business and franchise operations. We are actively transforming IT at G.J. Gardner by utilizing ITSM and ITIL models, simplifying the IT architecture, automating business processes, and changing the way our Franchisees innovate and Bring the Joy of Building to their clients. These initiatives are driving improvements to speed, cost, quality, and customer experience.Outside of the office I like sci-fi, dogs, CrossFit, bicycles, craft beers, fancy pants wines, growing vegetables and spending time with my wife. Don't ask me questions about pop culture or sports trivia. I'm also really bad at cards.
