About Phil Green

My education sector experience of teaching, training, and managing spans over twenty years. I have taught in Further Education, Higher Education, and the Independent Training sector as well as managed departments within Further Education, Higher Education, within Initial Teacher Education, and more recently within an Independent Training Provider as the Head of Learning & Development. I have experience, understanding, and current knowledge of OFSTED inspections as well as planning and writing both Self-Assessment Reports as well as Quality Improvement Plans to support the organisation's progress. I have up-to-date knowledge and experience within the Educational Sector being a Parent Governor, sitting on the Society of Education & Training Management Board as well as being a current Fellow of both the Society of Education & Training and the Chartered College of Teaching. This enables me to be a positive and effective mentor for educational professionals within teaching & Training through QTLS, ATS as well as other Education Training Foundation funded projects. More recently, I have gained experience and knowledge within the Independent Training sector. Working closely with awarding bodies such as NCFE and OCN London, local, national, and international organisations both small and large to plan and organise specific and bespoke training to meet their identified needs. Within this role, I have successfully organised and delivered large-scale digital training to top-five ranked colleges, local and national organisations which has led to agreements to provide ongoing staff CPD. Successfully planned, organised, and delivered new teaching qualifications that support both online and face-to-face delivery. I have also, successfully written two Senior Mental Health Lead programmes signed off by the Department for Education as well as successfully agreed a partnership with the largest educational membership body to support education for sustainable development.
