Definition: “technicist, Noun, One skilled in technics or in the practical arts.”My skill set nicely straggles both engineering and production it seems like the ideal definition of my work. I specialise in the Community Media and education fields.With over two decades of technical and production experience in low power FM and AM radio broadcasting, television, corporate video and internet development. I’ve been part of award winning audio and television productions. I’m no Chris Evans but can be found in the odd announcing duties as well.A geek at heart I’m equally happy with a soldering iron as building and programming computer systems, or finding my self on the roofs of tower blocks with antennas and dishes. With varied IT skills, sharing the understanding common in broadcast engineering types that broadcast IT plant is a different animal to a run of the mill office network.
