I have developed businesses and led projects on three continents – often championing sustainability, social and environmental causes, strategies and initiatives. I have significant experience in balancing stringent commercial requirements with the broader social consequences of development.Prior to forming RealWorth I supported a number of SMEs and funders in developing renewable energy projects. I also provided a range of tailored training, business improvement consultancy and executive coaching services.I was the Deputy Project Director & Commercial Leader on a $2bn Super-Hospital in Montreal responsible for the commercial, legal, procurement, accounting and HR functions and reported to the Construction Joint Venture Board.I spent 17 years with the construction and property consultant Bucknall Austin / RLB. where I led the establishment development and delivery of the organisation’s sustainability services and corporate responsibility programmes with Cranfield University. During this time I also played a lead role in the global launch of Rider Levett Bucknall and thereafter represented RLB in establishing and developing significant International partnerships and business. My client portfolio during this time included Ikea, Mars Corporation and the UK Government’s Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA)I am a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and have worked in Canada, China, Hong Kong, Pakistan and Qatar. I have also been a trustee for a prominent UK charity and have been trained in social and ethical accounting.
