Reported directly to the CEO | Member of Executive Management Team & Senior Leadership Team Worked closely with the Investment Committee Chair. - Ran a complex investment function that delivered members sound to strong investment returns, over various time periods, competitively ranking against peer funds.- Responsible for all aspects of MTAA Super’s investments function, enhancing the Fund’s credibility as a significant institutional investor through interactions with market participants.- Used commercial acumen to effectively manage a significant body of complex private markets asset transactions (acquisition / divestments) over an extended period of time, in accordance with the approved investment strategy, Investment Governance Framework and due diligence processes. - Managed relationships and supervised performance of Investment Managers, Asset Consultant, Custodian and other service providers, consultants and advisers. - Prepared strategic and tactical investment advice, oversaw the Annual Investment Strategy Review and quarterly updates, and implemented strategic and tactical investment decisions.- Built and managed the internal investments team and capabilities.- Managed all investment activities of MTAA Super and the delivery of high quality alternatives (unlisted assets) and market-linked investment outcomes for the Fund and its members.- Maintained an effective and relevant Investment Governance Framework, and constituent policies, and ensured compliance with Prudential Standards and other regulatory requirements.- Ensured ongoing compliance with Trustee policies and the Investment Governance Framework, regulatory and legislative requirements.- Oversaw the investment operations function of MTAA Super and managed relationships with directly held investee companies.- Oversaw the development and implementation of the Trustee’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) program. - Contributed to the Strategic Plan and Risk Management Framework.

Oversaw the private health insurance industry with the Private Health Insurance Administration Council (PHIAC).- Promoted/protected health fund contributors’ interests and promoted an efficient industry.- Conducted prudential monitoring, regulation and supervision of private health insurance funds.- Developed PHIAC’s initial prudential review program for funds, and reporting framework, focusing on corporate governance, risk and financial management.- Completed private health insurance fund prudential reviews, including assessment of corporate governance processes and procedures.- Provided financial analysis & risk assessment - financial, operational, investment, governance of PHI funds.- Liaised with health fund representatives at all levels - Senior Management & Board, Appointed Actuaries.- Prepared and presented monthly Board papers and briefs to the PHIAC Council.

- Conducted statistical analysis and research, improving sources and methodologies for statistical compilation.- Assisted with the preparation of the national accounts.- Compiled Input Output tables in National Accounts Branch.
