About Philippa Vigano

I manage the Innovative Technologies Programme at NatureScot. embracing new and emerging technologies to secure a nature-rich future for Scotland. We will do this by mainstreaming their use, demonstrating our leadership and working in partnership. We are developing new projects using Earth Observation data and eDNA techniques. I am also delivering our Data Strategy, based on 5 themes this recognises that data is key to decision-making, action and influence. To protect, restore and value nature and to ensure that we work effectively as an organisation we need high quality, high value data that is effectively and efficiently captured and managed and that is easily accessible to everyone. I am also a Level 3 qualified Pilates teacher and run classes in the Perth area.
