In this role, I worked with stakeholders in Product Development and at our manufacturing plants to understand their existing technology, and to determine which technology is required to meet their business goals. I work with each group to understand what those goals are, and what are the requirements. In this role, I have delivered many various projects and requests in multiple functional areas, including the expansion of some of our global manufacturing footprint. One notable accomplishment was designing, testing, and delivering a minimum viable product that quickly alleviated a major global logistics issue, costing us over $400k/year. I was able to understand the problem and deliver a solution within a few months, avoiding major/expensive integrations.I was responsible for the full lifecycle support and intake of many applications, including architecture roadmapping, security analysis, and building support models. After taking a few SAP training courses in Atlanta and paying close attention to some very smart co-workers, over some time, I was able to step into a role as an analyst and design and configure solutions on my own through the input of our business stakeholders. One of the greatest challenges here was navigating the mobile application through the technology teams. Since this was the first time an internal iOS application was being developed for Rockwell, many of the security and design issues that arose had never been considered. This was a great learning experience and a very challenging and exciting project.
