Support product development of baby incubators and anesthesia machines. Used proficient SolidWorks experience extensively on heating plates, designing the sealing ring around the plate, creating a molded plastic air filtration assembly, modification of a pre-existing metal covers into injection molded parts, and other various design tasks. Stress analysis was also conducted on the bed as well as an overall layout change to allow for load-cell interface. Designed and built a barbecue grill out of an anesthesia machine as well as a beverage dispenser and constructed them. Sheet metal design was used in the anesthesia grill as well as experience with sheet metal design to create a heat shield to protect electrical components. Created a wall structure to support anesthesia machine usability. Reverse engineering was done to create visual representations of various parts to demonstrate ergonomic factors on SolidWorks.

Applied skills in Excel to develop faster ways of sorting through RoHS material compliance information in a database consisting of several thousand parts. Disassembly of various incubators to gather information on material weights, conduct testing such as electrical ground verification and other necessary data. Prepared six test incubator specimens to be analyzed during vibration testing and failures were determined qualitatively and vendor contacts were made to convey key structural improvements to be made.
