I am a proficient cross-functional communicator and collaborator across multiple teams and business partners to effectively deliver and execute business strategy. I rely on both strong communication skills and relationship building, attributes which I've built throughout the course of my career. I am a passionate and driven individual with the strength and willpower to quickly absorb organizational strategies, processes, challenges, and opportunities.Whether I consider my background from a professional or personal lens, sport lies at the core of my strengths and interest. I began my professional pursuits as a Sport and Recreation Management Major at James Madison University, after which I hoped to embark on a career as a Sports Agent. As a recent graduate, I snuck my foot in the Sports & Entertainment industry when I worked for the Washington Commanders in operational, accounting, and finance roles over the next two years. With Sports Agency still top of mind, I decided to attend Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business (MSB) to earn my Master of Business Administration. While at MSB the prospect of Management Consulting piqued my interest, as I knew I'd learn a handful of invaluable skills as a strategist, data analyst, client relationship manager, and people leader. I refined many of these skills within Deloitte's Strategy & Analytics practice, and after five years, a handful of client engagements, and even more professional relationships, I decided to awaken the athlete within. Nike offered me an opportunity to boomerang back to Sports and Finance, and in 2021 I accepted an offer as a Strategic Investments Manager at Nike. My role at Swoosh includes strategy planning & execution, cross-functional collaboration, financial and operational metrics, leadership and influence, and data analysis and business insights. It's a challenging and exciting role, and while a far cry from Sports Agency, yet you never know what the future might hold!
