Phoebe is a Partner and Head of Design at Previously Unavailable. A company that’s difficult to tightly define — part innovation consultancy, part design company, part venture studio. A unique business bringing together an uncommon range of disciplines. At its core, Previously Unavailable work with ambitious leaders who are inventing or reinventing. Phoebe brings brand identity and design passion and expertise to Previously Unavailable. She leads a highly creative team who collaborate with all parts of the studio portfolio — from venture and early stage start-ups, established businesses wanting to reinvent, and new product development for a range of clients.Phoebe's career launched in New York working on the design team at Red Antler, soaking up the brand and start-up culture in the US. Phoebe went on to work at leading design company Alt Group where she worked across a range of strategic national and international creative projects. She has a long standing relationship with Auckland University of Technology (AUT), contributing her time as a tutor and mentoring undergraduate students. She is a professional member of the Designers Institute of New Zealand and has judged both the New Zealand Best Design Awards, and the Australian Graphic Design Awards. Phoebe is proudly both Pakeha and Māori. Her whānau are Te Whānau-ā-Apanui from Ōmāio in the Bay of Plenty.
