I’m an experienced non‐executive Director and Adviser with over 25 years’ advising corporate, government and family office clients undertaking complex transactions globally. With significant experience in business improvement, corporate transactions, restructuring, and governance in private and public sectors, I bring a wealth of knowledge in transforming organisations from a management and Board perspective. I am the Managing Director of Stradbroke Capital, a small investment firm focussed on small to medium sized Australian businesses. I recently became a non‐executive director and Chair of the Audit and Risk committee for Mitchell Services Limited, an ASX listed, Queensland-based mining services company. Additional current Governance roles include non‐executive director of Youngcare Limited, and advisor to a Family Business group as part of the owner’s risk management and succession plans.I also work with the Queensland based Plate Impressions Group in driving the growth and strategic direction of its vehicle identification business. The business includes marketing of personalised number plates in NSW and Tasmania along with the manufacture of number plates globally through Utsch.I was previously a non‐executive director and member of the Audit & Risk and People, Performance and Culture board subcommittees for Powerlink Queensland (2016 to 2019). Powerlink is the owner and operator of Queensland’s high voltage transmission network with a value exceeding $7 billion in regulated infrastructure assets. I was also a Director of Queensland Theatre Company (2012 to 2018) and served as chair of the Audit and Risk committee for most of that time.Prior to Stradbroke Capital, I worked in the Transaction Service Practice at KPMG. In this role I provided due diligence assistance to large domestic and international clients for acquisitions, disposals and capital markets transactions.Over the last 10 years at KPMG, I focused on Government Privatisations having assisted the Qld Government in the sale of QR National, Abbott Point Coal Terminal and Forests Queensland. I also worked with the State Government of SA in selling Forestry SA, and the NSW State Government in its sale of the Generator AssetsHaving worked in across many sectors globally, including Australia, UK, Switzerland, Singapore, and Hong Kong, I have a range of commercial and transaction experience to assist clients in complex transactions.
