Our planet and climate are in accelerating crises with natural disasters, social instability and warming temperatures that are endangering many species, including humans.The Climate Crisis is a cultural crisis as we grapple with unsustainable lifestyles, systems and aspirations. Arts and culture have a big role to play in leading change. Nature IS culture and we need to have an ecosystems approach to our relationships within it, ever conscious of limited resources and not creating waste.The performing arts sector in particular has vital low carbon creative skills, practices and processes that help connect people to the world around us, build imagination and empathy beyond the current destructive paradigm towards transition, regenerative practices and a livable future.I am joined by First Nations artist Henrietta Baird, a proud Kuku Yalanji woman from Far North Queensland; Gabrielle Moleta leading Transformation work, and Professor Jorge Lopes Ramos, Executive Director of ZU-UK & Professor of Interactive Theatre and Performance at the University of Greenwich. Choreographer and performer Henrietta Baird is a Kuku Yalanji woman from FNQ, graduated from NAISDA in 2005. Henrietta performed in many productions across Australia, including Vicki Van Hout’s production of “Stolen”, which toured NSW. Henrietta’s play “The Weekend” was one of 6 finalists selected for the Yellamundie Festival and premiered at Sydney Festival in 2019. Henrietta performed in “Divercity” which toured Dance Massive (2017), Yirrimboi Festival (2017), Spirit Festival (2018). She was the inaugural First Nations artist in residence 2022-23 where she developed her project Plant A Promise, grown out of Henrietta’s ongoing research into native plants, First People’s land management practices and climate change.Jacob Boehme is a critically acclaimed theatre maker and choreographer, from the Nharangga and Kaurna Nations, creating work for stage, screen, large-scale public events and festivals. Jacob is currently establishing IDJA Arts and Culture, a company founded in First Nations protocols to lead future work through a self-determined approach that Cares for Country, Kin, Respects Elders and acts responsibly for future generations, restoring trade routes and song lines to find new pathways across Australia and the world.

BiDiNG TiME is an experiment to share a story around the world and encourage people to adapt it locally - wherever they are. The mission is to think globally, act locally and share virtually exploring new creative processes in response to economic crisis, environmental crisis, the role of women and the role of the performing arts. How to join the dots is part of the experiment.The project inspired 5 productions in 2012 and many different artists and companies were involved in developments over the preceding 7 years, challenging existing processes and finding new pathways. Supported by Arts Council England, Visiting Arts (in partnership with KAMS - South Korea) the British Council (London & Dehli), Creative Scotland, the Brit School, Bubbles Laundrette, Tangled Feet Theatre, Kent County Council and the European Regional Development Fund. ChangeFest is a national celebration of place based social change with growing focus on systems change. ChangeFest is committed to walking beside and taking direction from First Nations people, connecting care for country to place-based approaches to respond to the deepening ecological emergency. ChangeFest NT21 was co-directed with proud Bundjalung, Mununjali & Wiradjuri woman from Yugembah Country, Romana Paulson. This was multi-site event 8-10 June 2021 in Palmerston, Northern Territory hosted by a range of local organisations. The convening partners were Collaboration for Impact, the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence, KOWA, the Institute for Human Security and Social Change at LaTrobe University and Health Justice Australia. During 2020/21 ChangeFest on the Road has scoped and delivered small events in participating communities to strengthen their collaborative muscle and focus on change, walking alongside First Nations people and exploring ecological emergency at a local level.

ChangeFest19 was held at Kimberwalli - centre for Indigenous Excellence in Mount Druitt. Western Sydney. The convening partners were Collaboration for Impact, Opportunity Child, Logan Together, Griffith University, local hosts (Baabayn Aboriginal Corporation, The Hive, Jesuit Social Services) and future hosts to create a four day site specific event at the old Whalan High School with an evening at Willmot Community Hub. Responsibilities included deep listening, active role in facilitating the co-design process, program development, fundraising, marketing and producing all aspects of the event on the ground with expert technical support from dlpr. ChangeFest19 was supported by the Department of Social Services, Paul Ramsay Foundation, IAG, Western Sydney University, the Department of Education, Reichstein Foundation, Wyatt Foundation, Wentworth Housing and various generous individuals.

Arts Exchange, Hickson Rd, Dawes Point, Sydney

Responsible for all of the programs in Western Sydney and producer for two major projects: Fly Me to the Moon encouraged thousands of Sydney cyclists to fly (ride) 768.806km to the Moon and back to commemorate the Moon Landing. There were several city sites with a flying bike created by Erth and interactive speedometer at World Square. Partnerships included Love to Ride, Cycling NSW and the NSW Education department. Shànghǎi MiMi, conceived and produced by Douglas Hunter, was commissioned by Sydney Festival. The première season in 2019 was directed by internationally acclaimed Moira Finucane and featured the Qinghai Acrobatic Troupe direct from Xining, China, in their first international collaboration. Other performers included award-winning Australian singer Sophie Koh, and Beijing-based international Cameroon hip hop artist and choreographer Simon Abbé. The Music Director and Band leader was multi-award winning maestro John McCall.

Scoping projects to engage communities and develop arts and cultural experiences at Barangaroo, specifically working with the corporate responsibility managers in the Towers. Priorities of the site are First Nations people, environmental sustainabilty and empowering women.

Redfern, Sydney

Performing Lines develops, produces and tours new and transformative Australian performing arts – regionally, nationally and internationally. I was initially working with the MAPS NSW artists - Branch Nebula, post, Ride On Theatre, Martin del Amo and Sue Healey to produce and tour their projects. MAPS (Managing and Producing Services) was a national initiative of the Australia Council for the Arts and state based arts agencies, in this case Arts NSW, that concluded in 2015. From then I worked with extraordinary Indigenous Artists; Ghenoa Gela (Winds of Woerr & developing My Urrwai), Nakkiah Lui (developing Blackie Blackie Brown, directed by Declan Greene with digital work by OH YEAH WOW) and Amrita Hepi (A Call to Dance). I co-produced Sandra Thibodeaux's The Age of Bones, a collaboration between Teater Satu (Sumatra) and Satu Bulan (Darwin) that premiered in Indonesia in 2016 and toured to Australia premiering at Asia TOPA Festival 2017. I also curated the speakers program for The Women of the World Festival in Katherine, NT (2016).

Musical Theatre Network is a membership organisation with three aims: to facilitate and support the creation of new musical theatre; to champion its role within the performing arts; and to build the community that will help to sustain it.Working in partnership with Mercury Musical Developments, I helped manage the organisation through a transitional phase, to establish new partnerships, secure Arts Council England funding and advise on strategic development. I still provide advice for MTN when asked.

Total Theatre produces the Total Theatre Awards at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe each year since 1997. The awards recognise the best of physical/visual theatre and most innovative contemporary performance. This process engages a team of professional theatre makers, critics and academics to assess shows and then a team of esteemed international presenters, critics, academics and makers to judge the shortlistsed shows. Generally 5-6 awards are given for the work plus another award to honour an artist or company who have made a significant contribution to the field. Recieving a Total Theatre Award is a symbol of international excellence reflecting a rigorous process.

I have worked as a consultant and advisor for various companies and agencies, including English Heritage, creating a new Outreach Dept 2002-6. i was one of 3 Artistic Advisors during Arts Council England's Theatre Review 2008/9, and assisted various companies with business development: E.G the Bureau of Silly Ideas (BOSi) 2008-10, Song of the Goat (Poland) 2013, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance 2013.

The World Famous www.theworldfamous.co.ukInternationally acclaimed company of creative pyrotechnicians working at all scales, from massive firework displays to intimate installations, created in collaboration with leading artists from all fields for high profile corporate clients and festivals. Responsible for helping to determine the growth and direction of the company; esp marketing, dramaturgy and strategic development. Creative roles include Writer/director 'the journey' opened '04 Winchester Hatfair. Performance director 'Crackers?' (5 professional & 30 volunteer performers, audience of 12,000). Produced in Tunbridge Wells '06, Sydney Festival '07, Singapore Festival '09. For the London 2012 Olympic Games cultural celebrations I was co-artistic director with Song for Dover and performance director for Silo D as part of the London 2012 Festival at Paradise Gardens in East London.In September 2012 The World Famous took the decision to fold. A book about the company is currently being written with support from Arts Council England & will be published in 2015.

I was a parent governor, voted onto the governing body in 2009. Alongside regular governing responsibilities, I instigated 'open space' meetings where governors, staff, parents and students worked together to focus on school improvement. This was the first time these groups had worked together. My responsibilities were cirriculum and personnel, responsible for arts and design technology. I wrote a school commmunication plan in March 2013.

I have worked as a freelance producer for a range of events as part of Kent's 2012 plan, including 'Light Up Dover' - the launch of the cultural Olympiad in 2008 & 'Song for Dover' the culmination of four years local work celebrated as part of the Olympic torch relay.

This was the biggest evening celebration for the Olympic torch in the South East of England before it reached London. An inspiring programme of creative work delivered by The World Famous with partners Dover District Council, Kent County Council & Arts Council England supported by Dover Harbour Board and English Heritage. Working closely with Dover Arts Development.

An artistic plan and programming strategy for this new build art centre attached to Oxford House in Bethnal Green including 200 seat theatre, two galleries, dance studio and . Produced associate artists scheme, supporting 90 artists and small creative companies over four years (2003-6) with business and creative development. Initiated the Bethnal Green Green Spaces Festival in 2004 and 2005, a multi-site indoor/ outdoor festival encouraging community to visit a range of different green spaces.

, The Museum Of was a series of temporary museums exploring why we have museums and our relationship to material culture. The five temporary museums were created between 1998 and 2001 in the bargehouse building on London's South Bank.
