I’ll never forget visiting the work camps in the UAE. I’d long believed in social justice, but that experience solidified it: the conditions of those who produce luxury often contrast sharply with the lives of those who enjoy it. From that point on, I committed to channeling my skills into meaningful work that improves quality of life—not only for myself but for others worldwide.Today, I work with Unite Here Chicago Hospitality Institute (UHCHI), helping to place individuals in union jobs with quality wages and security. To date, UHCHI has connected over 130 people to good jobs. Currently, I’m managing a new database rollout, revamping operations to optimize placement, and overseeing inventory management and financial contribution efforts. With each role, I prioritize efficiency and process improvement. At 826CHI, I facilitated the organization’s transition to Microsoft Office 365, onboarded a new POS system, and developed and implemented a new data and inventory management system. My globally-informed background has shaped my drive to build scalable, people-centered systems. My contributions in education startups and nonprofits have consistently optimized processes, created supportive team structures, and driven access to opportunity. I’m also someone who believes that radical freedom and liberation are grounded in stability, education, and access—especially when we find authentic ways to contribute beyond mere obligation.Alongside my professional work, you’ll find me creating and enjoying music, supporting local artists, and building community through great food.
