I am a Company Secretary with over nine years of experience in legal and compliance matters in the financial markets sector. I have a LL.B degree from Lords College of Law, a M.Com degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Company Secretary qualification from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. My core competencies include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing various types of agreements, such as term sheets, MOUs, NDAs, LLP agreements, service agreements, business collaboration agreements, and investment agreements. I have also handled joint venture agreements and legal due diligence of companies. Additionally, I have reviewed and assisted external legal counsel in preparing legal documents for cases involving the company and conducted legal research to support the board and their workings. In the compliance field, I have independently handled ROC compliance under the Companies Act 2013 and e-filed various MCA forms on behalf of the company. I have maintained statutory registers, drafted agendas and minutes for board and general meetings, and ensured the company's compliance with all statutory requirements. I have also co-ordinated with various organizations, such as NSE, BSE, and RTA, and advised on good governance practices and compliance with corporate governance norms. My experience includes dealing with the stock exchange, promoting and forming new companies, and filing annual returns of foreign assets and liabilities with the RBI.
